All my life, I’ve been fascinated by what goes on inside us — the storms and calms of the human mind, the rhythms of the heart, and the quiet awareness that holds it all. I began as a professional writer and editor, supporting others for 35+ years. Airplanes and sailboats were vessels in the sky and on the water that represented other professional pursuits, but my true journey has always been inward: learning how to navigate the weather of my own thoughts and emotions.
That journey became InnerWeather — a space for exploring how our inner world shapes everything we experience.
Born and raised in Denmark and now long rooted in California, I’ve lived between two languages and two cultures, learning that perspective changes everything. My career path — from the airline industry and sailing to art, writing and education — has always circled one question: why do some people stay calm in chaos while most drown in thought?
Through decades of exploration, I’ve discovered that peace of mind doesn’t come from fixing what’s wrong — it comes from understanding how our inner world works.
HeartMath®, which reveals the intelligence of the heart and teaches how to regulate stress through heart-brain coherence.
The Three Principles (or the Inside-Out Understanding), which illuminate how thought creates experience — and how clarity appears when we stop fighting our thinking.
Emotional Intelligence, which grounds it all in practical awareness and self-regulation.
Together, these create a framework I call Inner Mastery — a way of transforming mental noise into clarity and calmness, and helping us reconnect with the steady compass already within.
Through InnerWeather, I share the understanding that inner peace isn’t something we chase — it’s something we uncover when we learn how our inner weather works.
