future living in the now now past time Jan 01, 2019

I could write forever about time. It is all there is after all: the only true currency. The greatest illusion shared as real by every human being on planet Earth.

I’ve been away for some time. No posts for a while. Time swallowed me as I journeyed with life and its bendy paths and tendency for surprises.

How could time swallow me if it does not exist?

How many of us spend our moments in thoughts of yesterday and tomorrow while missing what is in front of us? It is a trendy wonderful thing to be Living in the Now, and yet I think the Now is being slightly misunderstood. The Now does not speak up for itself, it just is. If you miss it, it doesn’t care. Your attention to it is as irrelevant as your dinner is to the potential insect on Mars.

I merely mean to tend to, for a moment, the moment. The only moment there is. Now is not just right now. Now is the result of ignoring the past and the future simultaneously. There it is. Now.

Since our thoughts and feelings create our reality, we keep ourselves trapped in memories when we think of events or people that have influenced the way we think or feel. Our reality stays the same, the same one as yesterday. We live yesterday again today.

Tomorrow may be worrisome, what is one to do? We can only solve our problems of tomorrow today, right? Most days our emotions determine the way we feel about the future. Emotions from yesterday. Oh, dear, we are caught in a loop. How do we get out?

The time we check on and live by every day does not exist, while many true realities we cannot accept as real, are real regardless of what we think. Think quantum physics, the illusion of the “sunrise,” etc. So it follows that what we think is true for us and becomes the self-made reality we live.

Can we create our future self now? Can we live our future self in this moment? If thoughts and feelings create our reality, and we are in control of both, it would add up to - yes we can.

We can think up a new me, a new you, right here and right now. Who is the new you? Introduce yourself. Bow yourself into existence. Stay for a while. Visit often. Move in. Express yourself. Be new. Be you.

And so time was gone, and in its absence, you arrived.
